Groovy Bell-Bottom Jeans

Hi all! I took an old worn out pair of bell-bottoms I had (that were too long for me) and combined them with an old tablecloth to make these:

This is what I started with:

My first requirement was simply to shorten the jeans, but as I couldn't do this by retaining the original hems (as I had already ruined them), I decided to do something a little more interesting!
