From Old Style to New Favs

Up for grabs we have some old high-waisted, pleated-front, baggy, light-weight, faded jeans:












I liked the soft denim fabric and pale blue color...so here's what I did: removed the waistband and took out the pleats. Added a new waistband from scrap fabric that allowed the pants to sit at my hips.

Took out the hem of the pants to add more length and was surprised to find so much fabric folded in there. After ironing it out, I thought it looked so "pretty" I just left it as is.
