Cool! Just wondering whether there would be any issues with the leather cracking once you've added the paint. Would love to find out before I try mine :-) Hee.
You can buy leather dyes and paint -- I turned a pair of red sandals black surprisingly easily, and it lasted for the life of the sandals; well worth the investment.
