Ruffles on my shirt

I started with a hand-me-down plain white Danskin (exercise t-shirt). It was a tad thin but perfectly white and pristine. Instead of exercising in it, I decided to play around with the blank t-shirt canvas. I found a organza camisole (that I took out of my mom's Goodwill pile because I liked the fabric) and used that to make tone on tone ruffles.

After pinning on ruffles, I had an extra strip of fabric left over, so I played with that along the collar, ruffling it up, turning it, twisting it all the way around the collar.

It's going to be a great layering piece under jackets and cardigans.

Great job on the ruffles! It's amazing how much a bit of creativity can change something plain into 'WOW'!
