3 sewing for boys items

One of the great things about upcycling is it allows you to really extend limited resources. i used old plain blue curtains i was given for fabric to line both the hat and belt ( from sewing for boys sew along here) so that the feature fabric of fishing, that I bought as a fat square, did three projects. I used the book sewing for boys for the patterns, although i did change the items slightly, including using a recycled buckle for the belt. If you look carefully you can see the pockets on the shirt are  two tone, due to colour change on that fabric.  I just made sure i used it symmetrically on the shirt.

The hat was meant to have raggedy edges, lending it to more refashioning possibilities!

Great share on using various limited resources, and using even the "defects" of older fabrics to your advantage. Thanks! -Seeks, EOD
