top refashion

I really liked the fabric on this top, and didn't want to get rid of this top, even though its a bit big for me as it was purchased as a maternity top.

It was a pretty easy refashion, as I just cut off the bottom to match the length of another top, cut off the sleeves and side seams to get rid of a bit of bulk and reposition the shoulder seam.

I unpicked the bottom hem of the sleeve and off cut and used that to make the extra parts to make the sleeve longer.I just joined them horizontally and top stiched with the cover stitcher to look a bit more deliberate. The  I used the coverstitcher to make the hem on the sleeves and bottom.  

Even though the neck line is a bit big, I left it.
