I created these shorts when trying to come up with an alternative to the usual jeans cutoffs option. Granted, they took a bit longer to create than simply cutting the legs off a pair of jeans, but I think the extra investment of time has paid off with a more interesting looking final garment.
I doubt any of the talented refashionistas who 'hang out' on this site would be in need of instruction if they wished to recreate this look, but if you are interested I made a tutorial for this project which can be found here.

This is very sweet and it is good that you mention a tutorial as everyone is in different stages of their refashioning journey. Some have just discovered refashioning so your tutorial would be very helpful. Once again great result and it looks smashing with the lift of colour from your fabric belt.
