We are still in full time summer mode, but we've been having windy weather for 3 days in a row now and our beanie is being used to its full potential. And even though I know the sun will come out again soon and we will still be needing window shades (BTW, you can win a pair now over at Bag of Pretty) and swimming trunks, I couldn't help but browse my warmer weather projects and I happened to stumble upon one that I love a lot. So practical and easy.
I am sure most of you here on Refashion Co-op hate throwing stuff away. It is especially painful with kids, because they grow out of their clothes long before those are worn out. Some stuff can be handed down or saved for the next kid, but some just can't, and I am still not keen on throwing them in the trash can.

These are great for fall and spring, because my son can wear them in the morning when it is cold, but take them off if we are having sunny and warm afternoon, and he will still have his socks on, no need to carry a spare.
If you desperately want to lengthen your summer feeling visit my facebook page. I am giving away one seashell ring to one of my fans.

These are cute - I am curious to see - are they girl's tights refashioned for your son or your old tights?
