Infinity Scarf

I've got a super simple refashion today. Here we have a top I grabbed at a clothes swap last week. It's a light-weight, sheer fabric in a lovely fall color palette, but it's an XL and not really my style.

I just chopped off the bottom portion, hemmed the edge, and voila! An infinity scarf!

Now I'm trying to decide what to do with the top portion. What do you think? Shorter sleeves? Something else entirely? What would you do with it?

I often see this sort of top for peanuts but don't buy them as I don't like the style either. But this is a useful thing to do with great material. Thank you

What if you added a light-weight binding to the open front, bottom hem and sleeves to make a lightweight coverup for summer tops?
