Vintage Vera Sheet Set Upcycled to a Cute Spring Skirt

I love surprises!

Last year, I grabbed a bag of clothes and this sheet set from my thrift store for two dollars. What I didn't realize was it was a Vintage Vera Sheet set.

SURPRISE!!!!

Vera Neumann was a graphic designer who built an empire by being one of the first to put her designs on scarves, linens, clothes, and even dishes.

Score!!!

I decided to try making a custom floral pencil skirt from my first self drafted pattern from the Vera pillowcase.

I think I'm in love with this nice surprise!

To find out how I drafted this skirt pattern, check out this post at The Renegade Seamstress.
