Anthropologie Inspired

Here's a refashion from Goodwill. An oversized dress. Chopped the bottom off, changed the neckline, took in the sides, and voila! I loved this print...it reminds me of a lot of the tops from Anthropologie!

Now just to figure out what to do with the pleated bottom.  I know I could make a skirt, but that feels kind of lame since I just chopped the top to make a shirt.  Any creative ideas?

That is a great refashion. Any plans for the fabric from the skirt?

Ah, what would we do without Anthro inspiration? I quite like your neckline being boatneck in the front and a V in the back.

Dinna feel lame about that skirt idea: you have the look of the dress but the flexibility to match it with other tops if you take that route.

This is a perfect example of how something that most people wouldn't look twice at in a thriftshop can become great with a little adjustment.

You could press out the pleats and make it into a different style of skirt. I'm not really into pleats myself.

The before is so wrong but the after is so right :) I love it.
