The Super Simple Dress-Skirt

I bought this used sundress for €1 at my local market. When I tried it on at home, I found that the size was right, but my bust was just nowhere close to filling out the top. Wearing it with a bra or support cami were out of the question. (The bathing suit tanline was pretty awesome, too, huh?)

So I took advantage of the shirred elastic back, slipped it down to my waist, and it fit perfectly as a longer skirt. I could've just left it like it was with the straps folded in, but it they were annoying and bulky.

It was a super quick fix: chop off the top...

...fold the fabric inwards and sew it down.

And I had myself a funky new breezy summer skirt! Full tutorial can be found on my blog!
