But the fabric was a nice breathable cotton, perfect for Texas. This men's wardrobe staple is destined to become a woman's wardrobe staple - with just a few tweaks!
I cutting off the sleeves and added darts to both the front and back (one of which swallowed up that little stain). I also cut a chunk out of the back to fix the too-big armholes, and of course, rehemmed those armholes.
Now the only dilemma is: do I wear it with or without a belt?
Or maybe tucked in with shorts and sneakers for a more casual look?

Ok, can I just say that your body looks rockin' after your weight loss! Good for you :) I'd wear this top all three ways!!! It is seriously such a good basic that can be dressed up or down and looks cute and comfy without being sloppy. Love the new tailored look and again, congrats! You look great :)
I agree. It looks great all three ways.

Thanks, Andrea!
In the shorts!Looks great :)
Since jeans, a T and pearls is my go-to look, I opt for the tails out, no belt look. It shows off that great dart job!

Wow, the result looks so nice! I should try that with my husband's shirts he doesn't use.
