Bows on fashions from the 1930's are super sweet, and they add pizazz to plain dresses and tops. They were my inspiration for this denim dress refashion and up cycled bow tie pillowcase.
My strapless denim dress from Target was nice, but with a bow tie, now it rocks! The small bow tie is made with bandana and denim scraps.
The striped bow is made from remnants of a jersey knit top used in another project. I haven't decided which one to stitch onto the front.
One of the big bow dresses of the 1930's movie actress, Claudette Colbert, inspired my “bow tie pillow case”.

Why chose? Sew a pin to the back of each!
