How Simple Shirts Were Transformed into Octo-Dress

Here is my pile of shirts I plan to work with to bring my design idea to life.

Here is my design idea.  I love sea creatures.  Octopus is high on my favorite list.  I really want to get an octopus tattoo on my arm.  This will have to suffice for now.
Octo-Dress Sketch:

Here are my tools:

Here is my pattern.  I used pattern B.

A peek at the process:

And the finished dress!

Opinions?
Is this wearable?
Too artsy crafty?
Cute?
Cool?
Weird?
Ugly?
or Octo-Awesome?

If you would like to see more pictures and details on how I went about creating this dress please visit my blog, Sticky Genius.

Thanks everyone!

Of course this is wearable! I love it! It's beautiful. I don't think it's too artsy crafty at all. If anything, I think it's really creative and looks incredibly comfortable.

Definitely Octo-Awesome! I especially love the use of what looks to be a suction-cup dart from a child's toy gun to make the octopus' suction cups on the dress. Perfect!

Fabulous. Great vision to figure out how to make the tentacles.

I agree with Carissa. It's Octo-Awesome! But I am a little partial to cephalopods...
