Simplest Re-fashion Ever!

This is the simplest re-fashion I have ever done, this brown chevron print dress was originally an Adult Tunic bought for $2 at a Vintage fair (pretty certain though that this piece is not actually vintage!). Put it on my 6 year old daughter, and voila, its refashioned as a cute maxi dress.

With summer coming up down here in Oz, I couldn't stop there though, as it's such a lovely design and my daughter loves it. I just had to make one myself, so I refashioned the design into my own pattern. Using some of my knit offcuts, my daughter now has another maxi-dress and I suspect it won't be her last.

The funny thing about this because I used proper pattern paper for my pattern, creating the pattern cost more than both of these dresses!
