Before:
An old men´s t-shirt with long sleeves. A small stain on the chest, as you can see.
I had a long, greyish skirt made of a type of shiny fabric.
After:
I made myself a dress with a small lace decoration in the middle and on the sleeves. I rounded the neckline, as you can see.
But, as I wrote, the litte spot on the chest.... well I had to do something about that...
First a litte "close-up"
This is what I did:
I cut some stripes in the front, sewen on a bit of the skirt fabrik on back, twisted the stripes, and sew a seam in the middle.
Decorative.

I am retired and wear casual clothes most days. I love to refashion from stretch secondhand pieces such as T-shirts, dresses, long sleeved tops and singlets. I like you do not worry about holes, stains and a bit of wear.
I can really relate to this refashion and I love it +++ WELL DONE

Thank you! ;-)
I like the dress...the little stripes are a great way of adding decoration and covering that stain
