Feels like I've been out of the refashioning game for awhile - probably hemmed this one a little too short but it was still a fun transformation! I've never sewn on velvet before, so it was interested - not as difficult as I had originally expected..

Love the way you styled it!
Perhaps you could cut a wide strip from the cut away section and then add it on like a border.
