Gore Happy

 So I started with this big amount of fabric.

Chop chop chop

Button swap! Red shanks are so much better. 

And then I decided to get complicated. It seemed like a good idea at the time. From the left over fabric I cut out gores to make the skirt fuller. 

And I may never sew gores again.

I love the red shank buttons with the cherries/berries in the print. It's like they were meant to be!
