Luckily it was cotton so there was color hope. First I converted the pants portion into a skirt. which was tricky b/c it tappered. I had to add an insert. Then I tie-dyed the dress. A simple hem and then I was done! And no zippers were needed and I have pockets. yay I love pockets!

Yikes! The before shot almost makes it look like you're in your birthday suit! Skirtifying and dyeing it was definitely the right choice. Super cute now!
