Sew Long, Sainsbury's Top!

Hello!

I just LOVE getting updates from all you refashioners, there's really so much inspiration on here... you've all kept me going through my sewing-lull, and out the other side...
So, here's a tunic top I bought on the sale rail at my local supermarket for £3, I liked the colour clash... but not the style...

I don't think the red/pink paisley pattern is obvious in the photo above... but it's there! Here's what I ended up with, a top I'm hoping to wear to a Christmas outing, hopefully some time soon...


And, to finish, the obligatory 'Before and After' shot :)


I can't say I had THAT much to do with the design, but aside from cutting the sleeves off to use as fabric for the collar, I also added some ribbon for closure. If you'd like to read the full story, I'd love it if you popped by My Blog!
