One skirt for me, and another for mini-me.

Grace on bike

I found a long, breezy summer skirt at a thrift store for $3.99 on half price day. $2!  whoa, right? There was a lot of fabric, so I deconstructed it to make myself a cute shorter skirt with lace on the edge.  I wore it all summer long with Capri length leggings.
The rest of the skirt, which was already hemmed and slightly gathered, was just right to make a dress for my mini me.  I attached it to a tee shirt already in her dresser and she wore it all summer too.  One day we both wore it to a picnic;  it was bound to happen at some point, I suppose!

I shortened this skirt just a bit, then added some gorgeous

Well done and 'my-oh-my', sooo many nice, caring and 'smart-mums-occupied' homes for me I'd love to join in as an additional adoption ;-) !
Never mind to reject this attempt of mine, since 'baby' is of a rather 'non-matching' age of 7 years already. This means: even by dividing this age several times to really blend in nicely you'd get too many kids at once added to your family. This is probably only of benefit to me and not to you - hence 'defence of yours' very well accepted :-D

Correction: Computer (mercifully ;-) ??!) ate one digit of my age. Means: 'baby' is of rather 'high' (= can't use 'mature' in my case ;-) !) age of 57 already!
