Packing Goal: Refashion from the stash.
Before: Nice gauge skirt from the stash. I wanted to wear it on ship for dinners. Even lined, it was see through. I have a stash of old slips.
After: Skirt is well lined and there is no chance of packing the wrong slip.
Steps: Elastic waist-band cut away from old slip.
Old slip was permanently stitched in place in the skirt waist band seam.

I have the same problem with some of my skirts! Even with two layers of fabric, some skirts are see through! Nice solution.
