This Dress Downsizes
I got this 90's dress with shoulder pads from a co-worker. I thought the print was a lot for a dress and that it would rather be a skirt. I bought an invisible zipper and found out you needed a special foot for your machine, so I just put it in the normal way. Has anyone used the special foot?

i keep meaning to buy one of those feet to try it out, but if i have to put in an invisible zip i use a regular zipper foot and use 2 lines of sewing to get me nearer the edge and it works. i prefer old zips though (and i hav a stash from remakes)
I use an invisible zipper foot all the time, it is very easy and fast to use.I bought a generic zipper at my local fabric store for under $10 (Canada)
I really need to learn how to install zippers on some of my refashions. I really like refashion into a skirt because you can pair it with so many things. Nice job.
