Hello Refashion Co-op. I have another shoe fix for you today. I have had these wild shoes for quite a while. I never wear them because they slip off in the back. My feet must have been swollen when I bought them. I needed to find a way to make these glitzy shoes stay on my feet.
My idea was to attach a strap across the top. It would keep my feet from slipping out. I chose this gold elastic and glued it down under the sole and up the sides.
After gluing as well as I could I did a test run at home. If you try this, I suggest you wear them for a while to make sure they will hold, before you go out in public. You can't see the elastic strap when I am wearing pants and the elastic is very soft and comfortable.

So, you used a glue gun? I'm very interested in this, as I exclusively wear Maryjane shoes--I need a strap, or my shoes just don't stay put.
