The Mustard Chef

Today's refashion is a top that I found at the Goodwill bins. It is a lightweight polyester, so it cost about $1. There is a lot to love about this top and a lot to raise an eyebrow at.  What is your first impression?

Clearly, my first impression was, "I can make this work!"
I removed the sleeves, took it in and reduced the width of the ties to update this blouse into a contemporary style.

Check out the whole process of taking this pageant loser into a classy tiara-worthy winner on my blog: Hems and Haha's
Thanks everyone!

Waow, you're really talented! I like sewing but I'm not really good at sewing whole clothes but I've never thought of reshaping an item which already exists. Thanks for the idea!
Your new sleeveless shirt is awesome!
