My second "jeanius" refashion for The Refashioners community challenge was a bit of an experiment. I wanted to see if I could take a pair of brown jeans and a few pairs of white jeans...
...and turn them into a faux shearling vest. It took a while to figure out how to do so - and how to get all my pieces cut out of that one pair of brown jeans - but I did it! And just in time for our first real cool front!

You did something quiiiite horrible with the design of this vest and I'm pretty upside down due to this:
you TOPPED yourself !!!!
If we'd have 'Scottie ready to beam' right now I'd have 5 medals sent over to you for this job!!!
Congrats by the bucket load and seeya later (once you found your way out through all the hats thrown at you in big admiration

(with a typical 'Gerlinde-comment' yet just 'custom made' for especially this job of yours here :-D !)
Oh this is super cute. You always do such a great job on these refashions.

Carissa, you have inspired me to make/remake so many things for my wardrobe. This Faux Shearling Jacket is so clever and so amazing, I am going to steal my husband's brown jeans to make my own. Thank you for always providing me with goals to revamp my wardrobe.
I am blown away! It really looks like the real thing.
