The Big Sweater

Hello Refashion Co-op. I am all about staying warm lately, it is really cold now. I need boots and sweaters and layers of clothes to stay warm.
My project today was a sweater. It was handed down to me but it seemed brand-new. It was too big in the stomach. It seemed like it might be maternity but it didn't say so on the tag. Who knows?

I took the collar from this weird see-through shirt and added it to the sweater for fun. I just cut the collar off the shirt using the seam as a guide for my cutting. I kept the seam attached to the collar and stitched through it when I attached it to the sweater.

Here is the collar. If you look close you can see the light pink seam of the collar. I connected the two front tips of the collar and cut off the excess.

Here is my sweater after getting resized. I took a few inches from each side. I didn't want it tight, I just wanted it less roomy in the tummy. I kept the chest, shoulders and arms as they were.

Thanks for reading, now go make something fun for yourself.
