Hello Refashion Co-op. I decided to re-create some polka dot jeans I saw on Pinterest a few months ago. I got these jeans as hand-me-downs and thought they would make a perfect canvas for this idea.
I used a yard stick to make diagonal chalk lines across the jeans. I kept them parallel to each other. It wasn't perfect but it worked.
I made chalk lines in the other direction so I had a X pattern all over the jeans. Again, it wasn't perfect but it was basically even. I made a dot of paint where the lines intersected.
Here is the front of the jeans. I let it dry for a few hours and then flipped the jeans over and did the same thing on the back.
My toddler interfered with the drying process and smeared a few dots on the back. Oops!
Here are the finished jeans. The dots look cheerful and fun for Spring. It was raining when this picture was taken but I was happy anyway.
Thanks for reading, for more pictures and details go to I Can Work With That.

That's a lot of work, but they look really cool!
Love them, amazing how the dots liven the jeans up, K.
What a fun refashion. I am inspired to try something similar with bleach.
