Dress to Shirt

Hello Refashion Co-op. I decided to turn a dress into a shirt. I needed some shirts much more than I needed another dress. This dress fit and I liked it. I thought I would really like it as a shirt.

I started by cutting off a lot of dress at the bottom. It was a knit so it was easy to work with.

I turned it under and did some simple sewing to make a new hem.

I was happy with the end result. It is a nice sleeveless shirt. It is great with a light cardigan in the morning. It is also a great shirt by itself when it is warm out.

Thanks for reading this post, for more details and pictures go to  I Can Work With That.
