Every time I have the possibility I try to use whole or as much as I can fabric I have and don't leave leftovers. Zero or less waste idea ;-). After sewing the shirring top I still had plenty of great fabric in lovely color and pattern ,it was perfect amount to sew complementary wrap skirt to shirred top. It's one of my easiest and quickest refashion .

I have been trying to have no waste also. This is such a great outfit together but also pretty separate.
