My inspiration for this easy transformation was Claire Standish from the 1985 movie The Breakfast Club. I found this fantastic brown long skirt that needed to be shortened as it fit everywhere else. I used the excess fabric to make belt loops. Now, let’s hope I don’t spend my Saturday in detention : )

Yet: please have a look around the world and try to convince me 'it' might not be worth doing or at least trying ?
Further: we've survived 'it' (detention) beforehand; we'll surely manage again? It's surely better than to die, isn't it?
Possibly only problem: your very nice latest re-fash (a reasonably easier one; very lucky you :-D !) might have to wait a bit to see 'The Rest of the World' outside your own home. I think this is better than it ending up in an OP-Shop due to 'lack/death of caring Re-fash Owner' who brought it to more glory.

Your new skirt is a classic and a perfect fit on you. I would wear it to my work as a teacher in a Discipline School. Our students all come to us through multiple detentions.
