I decided on making a cut-out in the shoulder area to make a cold shoulder shirt.

I pinned a pattern I had back from a refashion I did where I added elbow patches to a sweater. Never throw away a pattern!
My tailor's chalk wouldn't show up on this fabric. So, I took my sharpest smallest pair of scissors and carefully cut inside the oval pattern.
I did not want to leave the raw edges to fray. I found a matching bias tape and carefully stitched it around the edge of the ovals. This proved to be a very complicated task. I think maybe the bias tape I had may have been too small of a size. Either way, it turned out pretty well.

Happy Refashioning!!!

Once the sleeves were sewn on it was time to take in the top at the sides.
