Dress from men's shirt

I found this lovely men's shirt in my local second hand , it's 100 % egyptian cotton and has beautiful claret color. At first I thought to make simple shirt from it but after watching Assos site I knew that dress will be much better choice .

Pajamas Galore

Hello Refashion Co-op. I had a dress that I didn't now what to do with. This peach dress was SO...peachy. I just didn't like it as a dress. It also had a revealing key hole that I didn't like either. What did I do with it? That's right pajamas!

I cut the top of the dress off. That was my new pajama top. I used the skirt to make some pajama shorts. Easy as pie!

That long sash was used to finish the bottom edge of the top. I also used a small piece to fill in that key hole opening.

I liked the first set of pajamas so much I made a second set from this long pink maxi dress. You can't have too much lounge wear right?

I did exactly the same things with this dress. It was simple and quick sewing.

I Made A Jumpsuit

Hello Refashion Co-op. I turned this maxi-dress into a jumpsuit. And it was so easy!

The dress fit well in the body so I just needed to cut the legs. It looked like the crotch was too low but when I added an elastic waistband it turned out perfect.

Comic Book T-shirt 3

Hello Refashion Co-op. I have been on a t-shirt refashion binge lately. This Captain Marvel shirt turned out to be my favorite.

This shirt was a men's size and was really big on me. That's OK. I cut out a simple sleeveless style shirt in my size. I used a shirt that fit well as a size guide. I made some extra room at the bottom for my hips. That helped the fit because this shirt didn't have any stretch.

I cut a narrow strip of fabric from the shirt scraps. I tied the shoulders to make them more gathered and narrow. It made a more interesting neckline.
