Hi, let me introduce myself. My name is Ute and I live in Southern Germany. I'm really fascinated about all this wonderful refashion projects on this blog and love the idea to share projects with other. Sewing is my hobby ever since my twin girls were born 7 years ago, but I justed started refashioning garments. To show here a piece at least once a month is a huge motivation for me.
Here is one of my latest work:
Since a very long time this sweater in pale blue lived a sad life in my household, unloved deep down in the laundry basket. Never to be picked up to go to the washing machine, a sure sign, that it will be tossed sooner or later. But this time, out of sheer coincidence, it made its way upstairs:

At first glance it was really not spectacular, already a bit tight with ugly stains at the sleeves, but the yarn was fine and shiny.
After cutting the sleeves, cutting out the neckline, making the whole thing tighter and adding a knitted flower it was done!
Take a look yourself!

really cute!!!
Hi there! Looks cute before and after - I'd probably have tried to keep the sleeves since I'm a veritable Frostbeule :) but what can you do if there are stains? I'm in Germany too, I should really also write in both languages!
Welcome to Refashion Co Op, Uta. we are glad to have you as a contributor.
I love how you have given this sweater a new lease of life. I am looking forward to seeing what else you make!

Welcome Ute! This is a very cute top. The little black flower certainly makes it very pretty!
Adorable!
Bonjour from France, where I live and from where I sometimes visit dear friends in Bavaria. Great refashioning job - the sweater with its cute little flower is really cute. And I also really like the little snail on your blog heading. :-)
Cute! I'd love to try that myself. RL x
