Halter Top from Men's Shirt

Recently I developed with this style at work to use up some of the squillions of perfectly good men's shirts we get donated. It's a summer halter top made by re-cutting an old shirt, adding bust darts, shirring elastic to the back, straps to hold it up and reapplying the collar as a design detail. For more images, construction details and a short rant about garment waste, check my blog post.

Happy sewing, happy refashioning, happy summer, happy Monday (delete as appropiate).
