Perfect Gifts: Upcycled Tie Necklaces!

No, it really isn't too late to make some fabulous, hand-made presents in time for Christmas!
These necklaces are made in no-time, I promise!

I am sure that most of you have some ties stocked up somewhere - upcycling ties isn’t the most unique thing… It’s a pretty obvious choice, as they come in such brilliant, luxurious fabrics. And I admit, fabric necklaces aren’t that unique either and they have popped up everywhere…
Nevertheless, here is my combination of the two. I love how you use the narrow end of the tie for this project, which often gets left-over after using the wider part for other things.

I have posted a full tutorial HERE.
Hopefully you all have the time to curl up in front of a fireplace, listen to some music, and make these sometime this week. Don't forget to put your needle down once in a while and eat a cookie and drink a sip of hot chocolate!

Merry Christmas to everybody,
best,
Katja

HOT, as always! Love the use of such great fabric; ties are such statement pieces, it only makes sense to make them into statement jewelry. Thanks for the tutorial too!
