Men's button down shirt Refashion!

My boyfriend had this shirt he no longer wanted because he "didn't like the light buttons on the shirt". So it is all mine!! yes!

I evened the bottom hem, cut underneath the arms to create the skirt. I added some pleats to make it fit me. I made a waist band using leftover fabric from the sleeve and added elastic to tighten. Then a hook and eye to close the waist band and bias trim for the hem. Here is my new skirt!

Pretty nice and probably the nicest finished skirt I have ever made. Even the boyfriend approved. For more information with pictures for this project click here.
