A few random bits from the past year
I was looking through my photos of things i've made in the last year, and there are many i haven't posted about just because i've not felt there's enough to say about each one. so i'm putting them all together (and apologies in advance as not all are strictly fashion-related in outcome, though they're all made from repurposed clothing!) into one mish-mash post. Here goes!
Some cute little scented hearts made from scraps from other projects and stuffed with batting with a couple of drops of essential oils on...
Legwarmers from sweater sleeves...
Cute little purses from my boyfriend's jeans, stash fabric and an old blouse for decoration and lining (the complicated-looking red flower was not made by me, it is an upcycled hair clip :p
Gift bags and boxes from old clothes - wine bag from a sleeve, gift tote from a child's top, boxes embellished with scraps.
old, sparkly and much-loved dress that i wore to death ...
Became pretty sparkly Christmas stars! Which looks great with our 'christmas' lights borrowed from my mum :p thanks mum!

I love that a lot of your refashions are smaller items that could use up some of the scraps from other refashions! Thanks for the great ideas!
Like diaryofamadmama said even though this is not all fashion it is a great way to use those odds and ends we have left over from clothes refashion for something cute. Great with a little inspiration to use every last bit from an item.
