i came up with this design while trying to figure out how to recreate this amazing scarf cardigan. i used one of these pashmina-type scarves that i've had sitting around for a while:
i admit that i made a mistake measuring how wide the sleeves needed to be to slip over my shoulders so it fits snugly around my forearms with the sleeves that billow/puff out. i did a little ruffling...
...used up every bit of fringe (repositioning some of it)...
...and used up the scraps to make a decorative spiral on the back.
you can wear it as a shawl/cardigan...
...or a funky embellished scarf (with my funky embellished jeans)!
