St. Patrick's Day Maternity Shirt Refashion

With St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaching, I thought this green striped top would make a great refashion…

     Lovin' the stripes!
This is an Old Navy maternity shirt I scored for 49-cents!
Actually, when I bought it I didn't notice that it was a maternity shirt.
The problem is, I’m not pregnant…so I don’t need a maternity shirt!
Note: If this top looks familiar to any of you, it’s probably because it was used in the pajama pants refashion (well part of it was anyway). I cut off the cuffs for that refashion.
When I finished refashioning this top, I tried it on and it didn't turn out as I had hoped, so I decided to refashion my refashion, and ended up with two different possiblilities...

Possibility #1

Possibility #2

So for 49-cents, I was able to turn a wonky fitting maternity shirt, into a skirt and/or summer halter top.
Which one do you like better?
If you'd like to see the entire refashion, (mistakes and all) you can check out my 49-Cent Friday: Maternity Shirt Refashion.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I like the skirt option. Good save!

I'm a fan of sweater skirts, but feel like both look great. I guess it depends on what you're more likely to wear (I hate halter tops). Great share! -Seeks, EOD

Thanks for the feedback ladies!
I normally don't wear halter tops except to the beach over my swimsuit. I'm actually wearing it as a halter today though, over my long sleeved white tee.
