Adult Pillowcase Top

I've seen tons of patterns for little girls dresses made from pillowcases, but I wanted to turn this thrifted pillowcase into something cute for me!

Adult Pillowcase Top

It has shoulder ties for adjustability and bust darts for a little more flattering fit (yeah, it's still a pillowcase top, but whatever).

The whole process can be found at CarissaKnits if you want to make your own!

Sharing this bright creation with my Facebook group Melton Bowerbirds and avid group of refashionistas and upcyclers.

I have never ever seen such a bright pillowcase. Great upcycling!

It is such a cheery and bright top. I like the simplicity of the shape teamed with the complex patterned fabric!

I have these sheets! I love using linens to make clothes & bags. I used a knit pillow case to make a halter top - so soft and comfy. I love all of your refashions.

I love this. I see really cool pillowcases in the thrift shops all the time - you've given a whole new meaning to pillowcases for me!
