Easter Skirt Refash

Happy Easter readers!
Today I settled on this festive floral skirt but the only problem was the over streched elastic...
I began by taking out the original elastic that didn't have a purpose anymore.
Then I shortened the length by 2 inches. I was a little afraid of losing the tulip style of the skirt with the new hem, but luckily it turned out just fine!
Next, I made a sash/belt with some leftover white t-shirt fabric. I added one of my flower hair accessories to pin my sash/belt into place!

Enjoying a wonderful family dinner at Zehenders in Frankenmuth!

Happy Refashioning!

Ooh that couple of inches off the bottom (not to mention the elastic waistband issue!) makes all the difference.

Lovely outfit!

What a super cute skirt! I love the ruffle at the bottom, and I'm glad you were able to keep it. Great job.
