I hate turtlenecks - with link to Tutorial

I HATE turtlenecks. Hate hate hate. I feel strangled in them. So when I spotted there at a clothes swap, I didn't feel the least attraction to them. On the other hand....how hard could it be to alter the neckline?

Here are the speicmens. The light brown one and the second black one are not part of this refashion.

The ribbing on necklines are more stretchy than you would think. Time to put that knowledge into use (NB! the size of the V-neck, I show, is as about as far as the ribbing will stretch).

I made a tutorial on how to replace a turtleneck with another type of neckline.
The TUTORIAL is  HERE

And now I have four nice pullovers:
Blue v-neck (and my camera hates blue).

Green V-neck.

Brown boat neck.

Black with round neck.

(By the way, if some friendly soul would like to correct my flawed English in the tutorial, I would be very thankful. You can contact me at the email adress I provide at my blog).

Thank you :-)
But when I make tutorials, I like the wording to be precise, so people don't get confused. And incorrect English could lead to confusion.

Amazing! Turtlenecks are super cheap now as stores want to clear all winter stuff! I love a v-neckline. Great job!

I hate turtle neck shirts for the same reason as you! They look much better now. :)

So many wonderful sweaters from such "blah" turtlenecks! I love them.
