Plain wedges to ankle strap wedges

The problem with these shoes was that they were loose and coming off.
I could not walk comfortably so I thought to make ankle straps.

I made a pattern and traced it on the relics of an old pair of boots:

...cut it and glued the sides...

...glued it inside each shoe...

...the back...

...used ankle straps I had from some old flats..

...and the result:

Now it's absolutely comfortable and I like their style more.

Thanks for reading!

I have a pair of shoes that I need to try this with! They keep sliding off my heels when I walk.
