Upcycled Mary Poppins Costume Part 2 - Skirt and Carpet Bag

 Hey All,

This week I did a really easy refashion to make a dress into a skirt.  I also made this carpet bag from some fabric that I had on hand.  You can find more info here.  And if you missed the Mary Poppins top and hat refashion you can read the tutorial here.

Have a great week,

I love how much your carpet bag looks like it was actually made from a carpet. Plus, it totally seems like the kind of bag you could fit a floor lamp into, no problem!

Thank you Carissa, your words are the wayyy politer version of mine yet I really loved the idea and started giggling immediately (perhaps way tooooo much); 1/2 sorry for probably being a ridiculous nuisance with this.

really loved the idea and the job well done

I don't seem to be able to post to your blog, but here is what I tried to say.

This is very cool! well done. Love the bag. Good idea about the sticks to give the firm shape at the top.
