This plain blue dress was in need of some embellishing.
I picked up a smattering of skinny belts from the thrift store and supplemented a few that I already had.
I used liquid stitch to glue the belts onto the shoulders and the waistline.

As previously said/suspected, you'd fit my 'husbands-worry' for an expensive funeral one day (= hopefully veeery veeery late in your years):
