Just Add sleeves

I took this jersey knit dress in a warmer direction this week.

I separated the skirt away from the bodice to make this cape/wrap thing

(And tell me if there is a real name for this particular style besides cape/wrap thing:)

Marina

I love how fuzzy this fleece is!

I removed the zipper and sewed it back together to create a pullover sweatshirt with an asymmetrical collar.

No Sew

I have this tank top that I wanted to wear before the summer weather flies away from me

I cut the straps in the back and used them to tie it up as a halter top.

Homecoming

For my 10 year high school reunion, I thought it would be fun to refashion my old homecoming dress from high school.

I got the inspiration from a magazine at the grocery store.

I took some printed denim and added it onto the top to make sleeves.

Good for another decade!

Collared

I flipped this extra large skirt to a dress this week

I added an old leather collar from my scrap fabric to the waistline to create a halter top.

Faded Jeans

I have a too short jeans problem

I used these three different washes to lengthen my style.

Long pants for the win!

Graduate

I pulled out this shinny top for my graduation ceremony last week!

I fitted it from the sides and used the scrap fabric to make a button up strap on the back.  No zipper installation needed! Yay!

Give the Cat Vuitton II

Every time I looked at this dress I had absolutely no creative juices for a refashion.

I decided it was time to take inspiration from the professionals

My Louis Vuitton knock off.

Cut Out

I turned this stretchy dress into a top today.

I cut the bodice in half and used the arm holes to create a cut out look on my sleeves.

Super easy!  Come see it on my blog!

Well Begun is Half Done

I'm trying to pare down my scrap fabric pile today.

I added on some easy blocks to add more variety to a plain blue dress.
