Since it was my Birthday I figured what better way to celebrate then wearing my favorite color: PINK!
Ohh la la!
The original buttons on my dress were gold. Now, don't get me wrong I like gold, but since this rehash is all about pink I decided to change the buttons...
I switched over to these pink buttons. Like how subtle the pink buttons on the pink fabric are!
Next, it was time to get rid of those ridiculous shoulder pads!
I shortened the sleeves by 1 1/2 inches.
I went to shorten the hem length and I noticed this: someone had already done that. (I can't even imagine how long the original length was).
Shortened the hem by 2 inches.
Time to celebrate! They even decorated the house for me! What a surprise!
My bestie made me pink cupcakes!
The husband bought me a embroidery/sewing machine! Stay tuned for some more awesomeness in refashioning!!!

Great refashion, and happy belated birthday! Your husband is awesome because my husband gave me the same sewing and embroidering machine for Christmas last year. And I absolutely love it! I don't use the embroidery feature as much as I want, but I love love love my sewing machine. Have fun!
