Hoodie without the hood

I liked this children's sweatshirt, but there has been several incidents of children getting choked or near choked because of their hoods, so I'm not running any risks. However the sweatshirt was very cheap, so I bought it anyway, with the intent of refashioning it.

I cut the hood off of the sweatshirt, and cut the edge off the hood of the hood.
Then I sewed the edge onto the sweatshirt as the new neckline.
